The JUST4ALL project, short for Embedding EU Green Deal and Just Transition in Teaching and Learning, focuses on implementing and promoting the EU Green Deal and Just Transition Mechanism as core EU policies that will shape the future for decades to come. The project’s vision entails developing comprehensive teaching and learning materials along with an innovative e-Intensive Learning Programme linked with 5 ECTS credits.
Recognizing the significance of successfully implementing EU Just Transition projects, the project highlights the potential consequences of a failure in transitioning to a high carbon economy, emphasizing the need for environmental sustainability across generations. The project aligns with EU needs and priorities, aiming to address the lack of knowledge and educational materials related to Just Transition, as well as the need for recognized educational programs in this area.
With a focus on equipping students, graduates, and youth workers with essential skills and knowledge related to EU Green Policies and Just Transitions, the JUST4ALL project aims to fill existing gaps in educational materials and programs. By involving stakeholders and policymakers in the process, the project seeks to enhance understanding and implementation of Just Transition policies.
The project’s threefold scope includes developing innovative and student-centered educational materials, introducing an intensive program for students and youth workers, and providing policy briefs targeting staff and stakeholders to enhance knowledge on the role of universities in embedding EU policies. With 7 partners from 6 countries participating, the JUST4ALL project demonstrates the potential for a coordinated EU-level approach to address the challenges and opportunities presented by the EU Green Deal and Just Transition initiatives.
